Welcome to my world!  I'm glad you're in it.

WHY ME?

I am a life learner. I have been working from home for over 3 years successfully earning promotions, training, and covering for my managers when they have time off. I have excelled in every position I've worked in.  I started my career in the Las Vegas Hotel Industry in 2007 as the Executive Receptionist for The President and Vice Presidents of New York New York Hotel and Casino. I worked for the current President of Bellagio Ann Hoff and Lorenzo Creighton.  I was trusted to answer phone calls for them from the Executives of MGM Resorts International. I was asked to stay, but I took a promotion at the Bellagio Front Desk where I was always one of the top service providers, building friendships from across the world that I have until this day.  

I am always adjusting to what is new and now that artificial intelligence is growing, I work with Close CRM I am learning about the other CRMs and also learning the artificial intelligence part that is becoming a huge part of the service and B2B, B2C sales industry. As far as writing emails, text, and speaking to overcoming objectives and building value in services or products, I feel confident in my abilities and once I learn the specifics of any product service or industry, I will become one of the best at what I do.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Self-Employed - Independent Contractor

March 2022 - Present 

I am currently an Independent Contractor for CRM Genius and 2nd Chance Auto in Canada. Working from home I handle 250 to 350 phone calls a day inbound and outbound.  I have helped with more car deals than the other 5 reps combined. I use text and email as well as phone calls. We have had record sales as a small lot with about 50 to 60 cars for several months.  I am currently working as a BDC Manager and often handle issues and questions from the other BDC employees in our BDC center.  We use the Close CRM which I can handle as well as any other CRMs I am trained on.  We sell these cars without people seeing them first, so explaining the process so the customer understands is crucial to getting the appointments and eventually the car deals.

June 2020 – March 2022 – Mortgage Wholesale Lender – Working Remote in Retail Collateral Dept.

I worked in the Post-Closing department and also in Retail Collateral. Our department was responsible for collecting documents when the loan closed and we didn’t receive all the documents. During this time, I learned to identify most of the mortgage closing documents. I learned Microsoft Excel functions to publish reports for the team. I worked with PDF Exchange Editor, as we had Power of Attorney for document correction and I was responsible for helping other departments that needed additional information on the documents. That also included calling lawyers, title companies and working with other banks to get loans cleared to be sold on the secondary market. My reviews show I was ready to handle the duties of my Manager in the department and I did when he wasn’t working. It also shows I did my job well. This company has recently closed its business.

Hired in March of 2007 laid off on 3/18/20 during COVID and was asked to return on 9/1/21 but I was working full-time for Homepoint and decided to resign.

 

I started as an Executive Receptionist to New York New York Hotel and Casino President and Vice Presidents before I transferred to be a Guest Service Representative at the front desk of Bellagio, where I did customer service at a 4000-room hotel. I did hotel check-in and check-out and worked in the phone center helping with guest requests and resolving issues. Some days we would check in 2000 people and check out 2000. We also helped with several departments that were closed at night like concierge, food and beverage, and guest request. I did this for the first 7.5 years at Bellagio.  

I upsold over 100 rooms in 10 categories or suites and views a month.  I thrive in these positions because of my relational skills and I truly know these upgrades help make people's experiences memorable. The added commission was great but I truly enjoyed making their vacations memorable. I have friends til this day that I met over 10 years ago doing check-in.  

 

Eventually, I became a Bell Person. I assisted with luggage and hotel delivery services, giving room orientations, and helping guests receive the best service.

As a first-time salesman, I sold over 70 cars in 7 months. We took people on test drives and filled out the credit applications. We showed the vehicle features and negotiated the deals.  I helped with TV commercials as well to help market the company.   I left this company to work in the hotel business.  

My School Years

I graduated from high school at Stone School in Ann Arbor Michigan in 1993

I graduated with an Associate in Science from Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor, Michigan the spring of 1997 in a program called Microcomputer Business Technology.
